The Lady Cranes XV team is in camp from 16th-22nd May 2021 as they prepare for the international games ahead.
The team had their first trial game in the camp yesterday (19th May 2021) with 28 girls playing 14-aside.
“Our focus was to see where the girls are in their transition from the recently completed regional 10s format to 15s game of competition.”- Coach Leonard Lubambula
“We had a good game yesterday and it gave us a clear picture of the team’s needs and what to focus on more during the camp. The girls showcased great skills and we are working on polishing the mistakes.” -Coach Leonard added
The Lady Cranes XV team in camp will have their second trial game on Saturday 22nd May 2021 from which 30 players will be selected to continue with this year’s campaign.
