Uganda Rugby Union

The Uganda Olympic Committee today had an anti-doping education session with the Uganda 7s at their headquarters in Lugogo.

The session was conducted by Mr Christopher Mbowa with attendance of 15 Uganda 7s players and 5 members from the management of the team.

Mr Christopher Oluk, Senior Doping Control Officer also educated  the Uganda 7s on the Doping Process and Rights and Responsibilities of athletes

Topics discussed:
The anti-doping code, prohibited list of substance and methods, Therapeutic Use Exemptions, Dangers and Consequences of doping, the doping control process and rights and responsibilities of athletes.
