Jinja Hippos are champions of the Nile Special 7s with 128 points.
They defeated Plascon Mongers 10-00 in the quarter finals of the Buffaloes 7s and proceeded to the semi finals facing Heathens.Hippos emerged winners of the semi final defeating Heathens 12-05 making them finalists of the circuit.
Stanbic Black Pirates met Hippos at the final of the Nile Special 7s and defeated them 7-0 emerging winners of the Buffaloes 7s. They defeated Kobs in a nail-biting game ending 14-15.
Second placed Heathens had 119 points, Stanbic Black Pirates 109 points,Kobs 108 , Impis 87,Toyota Buffaloes 83, Rams 77, Plascon Mongers 67,Warriors 63 and Walukuba Barbarians 61 points.
