Uganda Rugby Union

The Platinum Credit Heathens deafeated  Stanbic Black Pirates 19-12 to win the Kyadondo 7s.

Group stages:

Heathens started their campaign by defeating Rams 22-10 with tries by Micahel Wokorach (2), Laurence Ssebuliba (1), Nicholas Kato and conversions made by Trevor Ochan. They met KOBS in the second group stage game and beat them 40-17 with 3 tries by Ssebuliba, 1 by Michael Wokorach , 1 by Innocent Gwokto, 1 by Joaquim Chisano and 5 conversions by Daniel Malcom Okello. They met Boks in the 3rd  group stage game and defeated them 24-05 with 2 tries from Emma Ochan, 1 by Innocent and the last by Okello. All conversions were made by Okello.

Main Cup Quarters:

They met Toyota Buffaloes in the main Cup Quarter Finals and defeated them 17-05 to advance to the semi finals.

Semi finals:

They took on Rhinos in the semi finals in atight game ending 14-10.

Final:

The Platinum Credit Heathens deafeated  Stanbic Black Pirates 19-12 to win the Kyadondo 7s.

Heathens’ tries were made by Lawrence Ssebuliba (1) and 2 by Daniel Malcom Okello. All conversions were made by Daniel.

Pirates on the other hand made 2 tries. One by Sydney Gongodyo and another by Stephen Alur. Conversions were made by Jones Kamiza.

MVP:

Pirates’ Jones Kamiza was the most valuable player of the Kyadondo 7s hosted by Heathens.
