Hana International defeated SMACK in the U20 schools final at Makerere. (Full time: SMACK13-33 Hana)
SMACK kicked off with two missed penalty kicks by Mathew Musasizi followed by a try in the 5th minute of the game. The conversion was missed by Kirabo Garvin.
The 7th minute of the game saw Mathew Musasizi miss another penalty kick for SMACK. Kirabo Garvin successfully put in 3 points for the team in the 14th minute.
Hana’s Malcom replied with a missed penalty kick in the 16th minute. He later scored a try and successfully converted. Akena Jeremy (Hana) then scored another try for Hana that was converted by Daniel Malcolm Okello.
Bogere Francis then replied with a try for SMACK whose conversion was missed by Matthew Musasizi. Hana’s Sharif Tibo then replied with a try that marked the end of first half with a score ( SMACK 13-14 HANA)
Second half:
Hana’s Daniel Otim opened the second half with a try converted by Malcolm. The latter put in 4 penalty kicks for the school that marked the end of the game with HANA as champions. (Full time 13-33)
