1.When did you start playing rugby?

I started playing rugby in 2012 with Entebbe Sharks.

2. Who inspired you to play rugby?

Beatrice Atim

3. Which schools did you go to?

St. Joseph’s Primary in Entebbe, Airforce Secondary School and Huyslink.

4. What extracurricular activities were you involved in during high school?

rugby and volleyball

5. What is your take on relationships?
Relationship are not bad . I believe everyone deserves to be love and be loved.

6.What does it feel like to win your first games as Captain?

The Lady Cranes winning the Rugby Africa Women’s games we had at Kyadondo was a very exciting experience for me. I trusted the team because we work together and we target to accomplish. I’m so proud of the girls and thank God for the win we got.

7. Is a coach or athlete you look up to as a role model and why?

8. How has playing rugby changed your life?

Playing rugby has improved on my confidence and fitness. I have also made great friends from rugby.

9. Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of sports?

Fashion and design, music, traveling and modelling

10. Is there any other sport you play besides rugby?

Yes, I play volley.

11. What do you see yourself accomplishing in 5 years from now?

In 5 years, I should have engaged in various programs to pass on my skills to other people for the betterment of the sport.

12. Rank the top 4 priorities currently in your life.

i) To practise my career independently

ii) To run my own salon .

iii) To go professional in rugby.

iv)To play rugby in a South African team.

13. Describe your major achievements in sports in the past.

Playing Rugby 7s in Hongkong is one of my biggest achievements because it was my first time playing at such a huge platform. All my other achievements are connected to wins like at Avengers and Lady Cranes recent win at the Rugby Africa games.

14. What have you learnt about teamwork from your past experiences?

Teamwork is pivot in any sport as it leads to achieving set goals. If there is no teamwork, coordination becomes difficult leading to losses in games. Teamwork also helps us understand and appreciate each player’s strengths and weaknesses.

15. What do you believe is the greatest challenge women’s rugby faces today?

The perception of rugby is bad to the people out there especially our parents.
They look at sports especially rugby as rough and non-rewarding.

Most Athletes come to sports with out sporting gears. So sport appear expensive in a way.

Sports are not treated professionally at most club levels Players purely engage voluntarily of the consistency and stay long is on unknown.
