Platinum Credit Heathens lost to Pirates in the league opening game at Kings Park in Bweyogerere.
The game ended 24-18 to Pirates with tries from Joshua Engwau, Timothy Kisiga, Alex Aturinda, Moses Olweny. Heathens tries were made by Michael Wokorach and Nobert Okeny while penalty kicks were made by Chris Lubanga. Pirates conversions were made by William Nkore.
Word from Heathens Coach:
This wasn’t how we had anticipated our season to kickoff: we were dominant especially in the second half unfortunately our opponents rose to the occasion and put up such a gallant fight. However, this loss will not define our season but shep up into a much better outfit for the upcoming challenges and will bounce back harder and better for the remaining finals for season.

Its the first game of the season. The match was good for us. The result speaks for itself. We are happy for the win and going forward we hope we can maintain the great performance.
