The Eagles took on Gulu City Falcons in the first semi final of the URU Championship played at Damwaters in Jinja.
Kitante’s Nuwamanya opened the scores with a successful penalty kick in the fourth minute of the game. Gulu City Falcons’ Ogenrwot missed a penalty kick for his team followed with a try for Kitante Eagles by Kitara Reagan. Kitante’s Nuwamanya missed the conversion.
Kitante’s Kitara Reagan scored the second try that was missed by Nuwamanya. Godfrey Rubangakene of Gulu City Falcons scored his team’s first try that was missed by Ogenrwot. Mugisha then successfully made a penalty kick to mark the Half time score of 05-16.
Second half started with a penalty kick from Kain Akera for Gulu City Falcons. Eagle’s Mugisha then missed a penalty kick . In the 68th minute,Eagles Mugisha missed a peanlty kick. Nuwamanya then missed another kick. Emmanuel Ojara scored the final try for Eagles with a missed conversion.
